Nikeese Daniel

Nikeese Daniel is a graduating senior at DC International High School. He will be attending Emory University in the fall, where he will study linguistics. During high school, he completed his IB Diploma Programme, was a member of the National Honor Society, and achieved bilingual fluency in Chinese. He also dedicated significant time to efforts in helping with the transcription of research at the Smithsonian. He has been a member of DC’s Green Zone Environmental project of the Department of Energy and Environment, spending time keeping the DC area and natural environment cleaner. In college, Nikeese hopes to further his linguistic knowledge to be able to pursue future jobs in a communications-related field.
