FCBA Foundation scholarships and law school internship stipends allow FCBA members and Foundation supporters to give back to the community by supporting the next generation of leaders.

College Scholarship Program

Assisting local high school students expressing an interest in communications-related fields of education.

> Who Should Apply
High-school seniors in Washington, D.C. are invited to apply for FCBA college scholarships. Interest in technology, media, and telecommunications law and policy or STEAM-related fields is a plus, but is not essential.

> How to Apply
The FCBA Foundation will post a link to the application in January or early February each year. In addition to providing high-school transcripts, letters of recommendation, and information about financial need, applicants will be asked to demonstrate their commitment to community service and service to their schools through short essays.

> What to Expect
Finalists for the scholarship will be contacted for interviews in spring. College scholarship recipients are typically notified in May.

Law School Summer Internship Stipend Program

Granting summer work stipends to law students serving as interns in communications-related public service jobs.

> Who Should Apply
Students at accredited law schools who are seeking unpaid summer internships in technology, media, and telecommunications law or policy with public service organizations, including the government.

> How to Apply
The FCBA Foundation will post a link to the application in January or February each year.

> What to Expect
Recipients of law school summer internship stipends are typically notified in May.

Law School Scholarship Programs

Granting scholarships to students in communications-related graduate legal studies.

> Who Should Apply
Rising second- or third-year students currently enrolled in accredited law schools in the United States who have a demonstrated interest in technology, media, and telecommunications law and policy.

> How to Apply
The FCBA Foundation will post a link to the application in January or February each year.

> What to Expect
Recipients of law school scholarships are typically notified in May.
