Jenifer Lopez Prudencio is a graduating senior at Capital City PCS and will be attending the Catholic University of America where she will be pursuing a career in medicine. She hopes to get her BSN (Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing) at Catholic. Jenifer is originally from El Salvador and came to the United States in 2016 at the age of 13. At Capital City, Jenifer was able to engage in challenging classes such as AP Literature and AP World History where she was able to push herself to get out of her comfort zone and take chances. She also participated in extracurricular activities such as Design Green, the STEM Ready Program, and the WILL Program, where she provided her community with cleaning services and was able to learn more about what it means to help others. As a nurse, she hopes to help people be their best selves.
