CLE: Space Sustainability: A Global Design for the Future
May 7 @ 2:00 pm - 4:15 pm EDT
The FCBA Space and Global Communications Ad Hoc Committee will sponsor a CLE on Tuesday, May 7, 2:00 – 4:15 p.m. ET entitled Space Sustainability: A Global Design for the Future. This program will be held virtually via the Zoom platform.
The challenges of space sustainability are becoming more complex as the number of satellites launched into orbit increases, and the need to address these challenges effectively is becoming more urgent. This CLE will give participants the basics of space sustainability and discuss the existing arrangements that address component issues including space traffic management and orbital debris. Panelists will also discuss global coordination and the growing international law governing Space Sustainability today and in the future.
The FCBA will apply for 2.0 hours of MCLE credit from the VA Bar. This program has not yet been approved.
FCBA no longer offers CA MCLE credit to attendees. If you wish to obtain CA credit, you must apply for it on your own. FCBA will, however, provide a generic certificate of attendance that may be used. Please click here for more information on the CA Bar Standards for MCLE Activity Approval and Requirements.
If you have any issues, please contact Elina Gross at elina@fcba.org.
