 Topic: Meet Leaders of the Federal Emergency Management Agency:  The Federal Emergency Management Agency in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has responsibility to support nationwide preparations and response to disasters, including overseeing Emergency Support Functions (ESFs) that coordinate the communications sector and Federal interagency response and facilitate federal, state, and local emergency alerts through the Integrated Public Alert Warning System (IPAWS).
