Zion Keller

Qualcomm Incorporated Scholarship ($10,000)

Zion Keller is a graduating senior from IDEA Public Charter School. He will attend Union College this fall, majoring in electrical engineering. Zion’s passion for engineering began with game development and grew into a broader interest in programming, electronics, and system design. He is a dual-enrollment student and has completed over 300 hours of community service, including work with The MINT Project to help develop a free-use salon inside a shelter. At school, Zion ran track and engaged in a range of creative and technical projects. One of his proudest accomplishments was showcasing one of his video games at the Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum. Outside the classroom, he enjoys skating and painting. He looks forward to college, where he hopes to use his skills to create accessible, impactful technology.
