Wabi Sampson is a graduating senior at Jackson-Reed High School and will attend Southern Methodist University in the fall, where he plans to study finance at the Cox School of Business. He aspires to build a career in investment banking and private equity, using finance to create opportunities and drive economic growth. At Jackson-Reed, Wabi balanced a rigorous academic schedule with his commitment to athletics as a member of the school’s football team. Through sports, he developed discipline, leadership, and teamwork skills that he will carry with him to college and beyond. Wabi is excited to begin this next chapter at SMU and looks forward to making a meaningful impact in business and in his community.
