Sarah Halko

FCBA Foundation Scholarship

Sarah Halko is a rising fourth-year evening student at the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. She recently served as an Associate Editor of the Law and Technology Journal, where she authored a comment analyzing how Loper Bright affects net neutrality and the FCC’s rulemaking authority. Sarah is a member of the Law and Technology Institute and has focused her coursework on telecommunications and technology law, including classes in Cyberlaw, Administrative Law, AI Law, and completed the Telecommunications Practicum. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in political science. Over the past nine years, she has worked in the telecommunications industry as a code administrator, regulatory analyst, and currently serves as Director of Regulatory at a leading industry vendor. Her focus areas include numbering policy, robocall mitigation regulations, and emerging technology regulation.
