Olivia Fergerstrom is a rising 2L at the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and a member of the Law and Technology Institute, where she is pursuing a certificate in communications and data privacy law. Before law school, she earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and worked as a paralegal with the telecommunications team at Nelson Mullins. Her interests in technology and communications policy focus on affordable broadband access, accessibility in communications technologies, and the development of sustainable artificial intelligence. This summer, Olivia will work as a legal intern in the Disability Rights Office of the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau at the FCC, where she will support accessibility-related rulemaking and policy initiatives.
