Nathaniel McKinney is an honors student graduating from Benjamin Banneker Academic High School as a National Cathedral Scholar, National Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta member. A dedicated student-athlete, Nate played competitive basketball while actively participating in a wide range of school activities, from Debate Team to Fashion Club. He especially enjoyed tutoring peers in calculus, physics, and government, combining his passion for academics with mentorship and service. Nate completed more than 300 hours serving disadvantaged and unhoused communities both locally and in Puerto Rico. His growing interest in law and public service led him to participate in the American University Constitutional Law Project, assist with the George Washington University Criminal Defense and Justice Clinic, and intern with Morris Martin & Manning LLP. Nate will attend Tufts University this fall, where he plans to study political science in preparation for a career in law.
