Michelle Nataren was born and raised in Honduras and is currently a senior at E.L. Haynes High School. She plans to attend Marymount University or Trinity Washington University, where she will major in digital writing or English. For Michelle, writing is a way to better understand herself and make sense of the world around her. She is passionate about using her writing abilities to share voices that deserve to be heard and stories that often go untold. She hopes to use her writing to spark empathy and help others feel seen.
