Josef Novacek

FCBA Foundation Law Scholarship

Josef Novacek is a rising 3L at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and a member of the Law and Technology Institute, where he is pursuing a certificate in communications and data privacy law. He is the incoming President of the Law and Technology Student Association and the First Generation Law Student Union, and serves as the Vice Chancellor of the Moot Court Association’s National Telecommunications and Technology Competition. Last spring, he served as the Spring Intern in the office of FCC Commissioner Olivia Trusty. This summer, he will join AT&T’s External and Legislative Affairs team as a Legal Intern. Prior to law school, Josef graduated from Ursinus College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Neuroscience, and he worked at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as a human immunologist.
