Hafsa Nadeem is a rising 3L at the University of Maryland, Francis King Carey School of Law, interested in regulatory, privacy, and international law. Prior to law school, Hafsa was a paralegal at Wiley Rein LLP in Washington DC where she assisted the appellate litigation practice group with administrative law litigation before various circuit courts. During her 2L year, she was the Vice President of the Cyber Law and Data Privacy Association, and Outreach Chair for the Muslim Law Student Association. In Fall 2025, Hafsa interned with the FCC’s Office of International Affairs, Global Strategy & Negotiations Division where she assisted attorney advisors with preparing for telecommunications conferences and recommended updates for licensing rules. This summer, Hafsa will intern with the FCC’s Office of International Affairs, Telecommunications & Analysis Division where she will focus on how foreign entities seeking access to U.S. telecommunications markets must navigate the domestic legal framework.
