Glen Yonkers, III, is a senior at McKinley Technology High School in Washington, DC, where he serves as a Student Ambassador. In the fall, he will be attending North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, studying mechanical engineering. He is actively involved in his community, accumulating over 100 hours of community service. He enjoys being a beacon to others and a leader amongst his peers, engaging and connecting with his community. He participates in various extracurriculars, such as being a captain for the McKinley Tech Basketball Team, the DC Rhinos Mentoring Program, and a proud member of College Bound DC. He looks forward to continuing his education using the opportunities he’s had in the past to achieve success and continue to support and inspire other young, diverse students in his community to achieve their goals.
