Eve Ndema is a graduating senior from Benjamin Banneker Academic High School. She will be attending Howard University in the fall, majoring in biology on a pre-med track. She hopes to work in the medical field, specifically as an obstetrician and gynecologist specializing in fetal and maternal medicine. Her long-term goal is to reduce racial disparities in the healthcare system, along with maternal morbidity rates in underrepresented communities. In school, Eve participated in many activities, such as being the manager of Mu Alpha Theta and the Dance Team. She was also a participant in the financial literacy and pre-med club. In her free time, Eve takes care of her grandma and spends time with her little brothers. She also enjoys a lot of creative activities like reading, journaling, painting, crocheting, and sculpting. She is eager to attend college and embark on this new chapter in her life.
