Cheikh Tourad is a senior at Cardozo EC and will be attending the University of Detroit Mercy, where he plans to major in Civil Engineering and Business Management. During his time at Cardozo, Cheikh was a dedicated member of the boys’ varsity soccer team. He continues to train with passion and strives to take his game to the next level. Beyond the field, he serves as a positive role model for his younger siblings, who look up to him and are inspired to follow in his footsteps—or go even further. In addition to his academic and athletic commitments, Cheikh spends his time reading and supporting others in his community and school. His ultimate dream is to design and build beautiful cities and iconic bridges, and to one day become a respected and influential historical figure in the field of engineering.
