Camden Mead is a rising 2L at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where his interests lie at the intersection of national security, technology, and law. He earned his B.S. in National Security Studies from Utah Valley University, graduating magna cum laude. Before law school, Camden spent three years at the Emerging Technology Policy Lab as a cyber threat analyst, team lead, and graduate research associate, working with federal and state agencies to identify cyber vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure across the water, energy, and power sectors. He has previously won the Atlantic Council’s Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge in 2025 and placed second in 2024. Camden currently serves as President of the Federal Bar Association’s University of Utah chapter. This summer, he will intern with the Department of Justice’s National Security Division, Cyber Section, focusing on disrupting foreign cyber threats.
