Benjamin Shatz

FCBA Foundation Law Scholarship

Benjamin Shatz is a rising 2L at the University of Colorado, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Physics and Secondary Science Education. Before entering Colorado Law, Ben had a successful career as a physics instructor, tutor, and freelance science writer, alongside other odd jobs including train conductor, horticulturist, and election organizer. He’s brought his interdisciplinary nature to law school, where he studies the intersection of public service, AI, business, and ethics. He’s been named a Dale Hatfield scholar, and this summer he looks forward to a legal internship with the Office of Engineering and Technology at the Federal Communications Commission in Washington DC.
