Audrea Fryar is a rising 3L at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. Her interests include entertainment, technology, privacy, and corporate law. At Pepperdine, Audrea serves as a research assistant and President of Pepperdine’s Black Law Students Association, where she focuses on mentorship, advocacy, and expanding opportunities for underrepresented students in the legal profession. Her academic work explores emerging issues involving AI, NIL, and digital privacy. This summer, she will work as a summer associate at Mastagni Holstedt, A.P.C. in Los Angeles. Before law school, she worked in legal recruiting and operations at Baker McKenzie LLP, where she coordinated the summer associate program and diversity recruitment initiatives, including the NBLSA Tax Mentorship Program. Audrea graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2021, where she co-founded the Center for African and African American Studies. She hopes to build a career that combines legal practice with meaningful community impact.
