Abigail Hicks is a rising 3L at American University Washington College of Law with a strong interest in telecommunications, media, and technology law. Last summer, she participated in the FCBA Pipeline Program where she gained valuable exposure to the telecommunications industry and connected with attorneys, policymakers, and professionals across the communications law field. At American, Abigail is a member of the American University Business Law Review and will serve as the incoming President of the Communications and Media Law Society. Through these experiences, she has strengthened her interests in regulatory and transactional issues impacting communications and emerging technologies. Abigail is passionate about exploring how legal and policy frameworks shape innovation, access, and competition within the telecommunications sector, and looks forward to continuing to grow professionally within the field.
