Confidential Assistant to FCC Chairman Brendan Carr
Location: Washington, D.C.
Position Type: Full-Time; Serves at the pleasure of Chairman Carr under appointment authority in the Communications Act
Salary Range: $100,097 – $156,755 (GS-10 to GS-13 equivalent, depending on experience.)
Overview:
FCC Chairman Brendan Carr is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional that will work directly with him as his Confidential Assistant. This critical role provides direct support to the Chairman, ensuring seamless execution of administrative and operational duties.
The position is currently vacant and the FCC is seeking to fill it as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Chairman’s schedule, including coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including document preparation, correspondence, and record-keeping.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet the fast-paced and evolving needs of the Chairman’s office.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience scheduling for an executive or senior leader is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Males born after 12/31/59 must be registered with Selective Service
