FCBA TMT Law & Policy Pipeline Program Opens Year 7 Applications

The FCBA TMT Law & Policy Pipeline Program begins its 2026–2027 cycle with a record number of first-year law student applications across the country and continued support from returning employer partners.

The program connects aspiring attorneys with specialized training, professional mentorship, and paid summer internship opportunities in technology, media, and telecommunications law and policy.

Before starting their internships, selected students will complete the TMT Law & Policy Certificate Program. This comprehensive curriculum introduces participants to key legal and policy issues across the TMT sectors, helping them build the knowledge and practical foundation to contribute in a professional setting.

Employers play an essential role in this effort. Through their participation, Washington, D.C.-area law firms, companies, and trade associations provide valuable opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience, develop professional relationships, and explore careers in TMT law and policy.

The program welcomes additional employers and supporters for the 2026–2027 cycle.

Employers Needed for Summer 2027

Join our growing roster of Summer Employers – returning and prospective employer partners are invited to host a talented first-year law student for a paid Summer 2027 internship. The Pipeline Program recruits and evaluates candidates from law schools nationwide, provides employers with a curated group of qualified students to interview, and prepares participants through the eight-session TMT Law & Policy Certificate Program.

Student interviews will begin soon. Employers are encouraged to join as soon as possible to secure a Summer 2027 intern from this year’s candidate pool. Contact TMTPipeline@fcba.org for details and next steps.
