Join the Northern California Chapter of the Federal Communications Bar Association for a special Lunch & Learn featuring Julie Kearney, one of the world’s leading voices in space, satellite, and communications law. Julie is a globally recognized lawyer with more than 25 years of experience working with governments, industry, and the public sector to shape legal and regulatory frameworks that enable transformative technologies. Most recently, she served as the first ever Chief of the FCC’s Space Bureau, where she represented the Chairwoman and Commissioners on satellite and space based communications matters and helped steer U.S. policy in the rapidly evolving New Space Age. Under Julie’s leadership, the FCC unanimously adopted multiple landmark regulatory frameworks and launched initiatives designed to advance U.S. leadership in space and satellite communications. This engaging lunch and learn program will offer timely insights into the future of space and satellite regulation, innovation at the FCC, and what lies ahead for the communications ecosystem.
