Description: Stuck on the Carousel: The FCC’s Latest Net Neutrality Proposal. Depending on the administration and courts, Net Neutraility (the concept that Internet Service Providers can prioritize speed to certain loactions on the internet) has been in effect, reversed by the Courts, or repealed by the FCC. The FCC currently has a new proposal for Net Neutrality pending (WC 23-320 – Safeguarding and Securing the Open Internet). The FCBA Midwest Chapter is offering a panel discussion on this For this latest round in the FCC’s Net Neutrality proposals. The panel will offer an insightful discussion about the ins and outs of the debate, impact to the broadband and technology industries, and what should practitioners keep in mind as the proceeding continues. The panel features representatives from the Internet Service Provider and technology communities. Panelists will unpack the current regulatory framework, the currently pending FCC proposal, and expectations going forward. They will share their insights into addressing these challenges within the technology ecosystem. The session will culminate with a Q&A session, providing attendees with the opportunity to engage with panelists.
