CLE Seminar: Privacy and Security Developments at the FCC

The FCBA Privacy and Data Security Committee will sponsor a CLE on Wednesday, November 8 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET entitled Privacy and Security Developments at the FCC.  This program will be held virtually via the Zoom platform.

During this program, we will review the FCC’s recently launched Privacy and Data Protection Task Force and how the FCC’s approach fits into the broader U.S. National Cyber Strategy.  The CLE will also explore several recent regulatory and enforcement developments on a range of topics, including SIM swaps, CPNI rules, data breach notifications, the Safe Connections Act, and IoT cybersecurity labeling.  Come join us for an exciting and informative discussion of the latest regulatory and enforcement developments.  Panelists will include experts from the government and private industry.

The FCBA will apply for 2.0 hours of MCLE credit from the VA Bar.  This program has not yet been approved.

FCBA no longer offers CA MCLE credit to attendees.  If you wish to obtain CA credit, you must apply for it on your own.  FCBA will, however, provide a generic certificate of attendance that may be used.  Please click here for more information on the CA Bar Standards for MCLE Activity Approval and Requirements.

Online registration is closed.  Please contact Wendy Parish (wendy@fcba.org) if you want to register.
