CLE Seminar: Privacy and Consumer Protection Symposium—Federal and State Regulation of Sensitive Consumer Data

The FCBA Privacy and Data Security Committee and Consumer Protection Committee will co-sponsor a CLE on Wednesday, April 8, 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. ET entitled Federal and State Regulation of Sensitive Consumer Data.  This program will be held virtually via the Zoom platform.

Federal and state legislators and regulators are increasingly focused on building safeguards around sensitive consumer data, including children’s personal information and precise geolocation data. This event will explore existing and emerging regulatory trends pertaining to the protection of sensitive data at both the federal and state levels, along with industry efforts to protect such information.
