The policy landscape for AI and privacy is rapidly developing—with debates at both the federal and state levels over whether and how these spaces should be regulated, and who should take the lead. This panel will discuss developments at the federal level, including recent Administration actions and priorities articulated in the AI Action Plan, as well as congressional proposals and debates related to preemption, moratoriums, and regulation. The panel will also discuss state actions and developments, from legislation to regulatory enforcement.
