Public Utility Commissions (“PUCs”) have become a more common battleground for a variety of issues in the telecommunications space across the country.  Notably, the rules for handling these proceedings vary state by state and present a variety of traps and challenges for unwary litigants.  This CLE will convene a diversity of experts on how to litigate when handling cases in front of PUCs, as well as spotlighting basic information and state-by-state practices for how PUCs operate.

12:10 – 12:55 p.m.     Overview Presentation of PUCs and Proceedings
The first part of the program will provide an overview of PUCs – their general purpose, the role they play, how they are composed, the rules that apply when litigating before them, and related judicial relief, among other topics.  The presentation will also provide information on certain states as examples.
