About the Pipeline Program

The FCBA Law & Policy Pipeline Program’s mission is to attract, develop, train, and support first-year law students interested in pursuing legal careers in TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) law and policy. The Pipeline Program is a competitive internship and legal skills development program that prepares law students for elite careers in technology, media, and telecom law and policy.

Internship Program

The Pipeline Program facilitates access to paid internship opportunities for first-year law students with unique experiences and perspectives interested in pursuing legal careers in TMT law and policy.

TMT Law & Policy
Certificate Program

The Program also includes academic enrichment and skills development components, particularly the TMT Law & Policy Certificate Program. Students will also receive FCBA support and mentoring to develop their legal and policy careers.

Through the Pipeline Program

1st Year Law Students

who demonstrate a sincere interest in TMT law and policy will receive substantive legal skills training and mentorship, FCBA network access, and qualify for a paid internship opportunity with participating employer-organizations specialized in TMT law and policy.

Employer-Organizations,

including law firms, companies, think-tanks, advocacy organizations, and government agencies will be connected to trained and highly motivated diverse 1st year law students with a keen interest in TMT law and policy.

2025-2026 TMT Pipeline Program Co-Chairs

The TMT Law & Policy Pipeline committee shall manage the TMT Law & Policy Pipeline Program, which finds paid summer internships for first-year law students interested in pursuing legal careers in technology, media, and telecom (TMT) law and policy. The committee also organizes the TMT Law & Policy Certificate Program that provides substantive academic enrichment curriculum, covering key principles, statutes, and regulations that are the foundation of TMT law and policy.
