Topic: The FCC’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Regarding the 12.2-12.7 GHz Band.  The Wireless Telecommunications Committee and International Telecommunications Committee are pleased to present a discussion of the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking seeking comment on whether to allow terrestrial flexible use, including mobile services, in the 12.2-12.7 GHz (12 GHz) band.  The panel discussion will include a variety of perspectives on the characteristics of the 12 GHz band and on whether or how the Commission could add a new or expanded terrestrial Mobile allocation while protecting incumbent operations from harmful interference.
