The FCBA Women’s Leadership Committee will present Session II of the Fourth Annual Women’s Summit Series, The Path to Innovative and Inclusive Leadership, on Wednesday, March 8 from 12:30 – 6:30 p.m. ET at the AT&T Forum, 601 New Jersey Avenue, NW 20001.  The afternoon will feature remarks from and conversations with tech, media, and telecom industry leaders and senior government officials and will conclude with a networking reception to celebrate our achievements and connect with old friends and new.

A workplace culture that inhibits people from bringing their full selves to their jobs takes a toll on mental health and undermines retention.  A key facet of inclusive leadership is supporting queer and trans employees and colleagues, who often experience pressure to hide their sexual orientation and/or gender identity; discrimination in hiring, performance evaluations, and compensation; and harassment. This panel will discuss the experiences of LGBTQ+ tech, media, and telecom attorneys and other policy professionals and provide actionable advice on promoting belonging.
