Topic: 10 Digit Long Codes (10DLC): What’s all the fuss? The wireless industry has adopted a new framework that allows businesses, charities and public interest groups to text their customers or members using regular 10-digit phone numbers. According to some stakeholders, the new framework will help protect consumers from spam texts by requiring organizations to register their calling campaigns and imposing fees or penalties to ensure compliance. In addition, business texts, which are considered A2P texts, may be blocked if not appropriately registered. Join us to learn about the new 10 DLC framework, its benefits and potential implementation issues.
