Saturday Afternoon Activities
Golf and Tennis. Participate in the golf outing and enjoy an afternoon on the Plantation Golf Course, an Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay design that challenges players of all skill levels. The 6,432-yard, par-72 course favors accurate iron play and good putting. If you would rather play tennis, join your fellow FCBA friends in a round robin tournament!
Customized Guided Tour of Colonial Williamsburg. Register in advance so you don’t miss the opportunity to participate in the walking tour of Colonial Williamsburg. For about three hours, Colonial Williamsburg official tour guides will escort you through the historic village while sharing the history of this restored and reconstructed 18th century Capital on the eve of the American Revolution. While stopping to visit significant buildings within this living history museum, you will hear inspirational stories of our nation’s founding men and women.
Silver Hand Meadery Tasting. Join us for a 45-minute sensory experience where we’ll explore the aromas and flavors of honey, the main ingredient for mead. Mead is one of the most historic fermented drinks found on Earth, having the creativity of craft beer and the elegance of wine, but is in a category all its own. Learn more about the honey bee as we showcase the inner workings of an empty beehive. Space is limited, so register early. This activity organized by the Young Lawyers Committee will take place Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Not interested in a tasting? Drop by the Meadery any time!
