Summer legal internship – The National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s (NTIA) Office of the Chief Counsel (OCC) is looking for one summer legal intern. As volunteers, students may arrange to earn class credit for the internship. NTIA is the President’s principal adviser on domestic and international telecommunications and information technology issues. NTIA works to spur innovation, encourage competition, create jobs, and provide consumers with more choices and better-quality telecommunications products and services at lower Prices.
Candidates should have a particular, demonstrated interest in telecommunications law, as well as other related and relevant legal fields such as media, Internet, intellectual property, administrative, and technology law. Experience and exposure to the telecommunication industry and law is required. Interest and experience in transactional work as well as litigation welcome.
