2.19.3 – Hogan Lovells’s Communications, Internet, and Media practice group seeks a mid-level regulatory associate, preferably with 3-5 years of communications regulatory experience. Our Communications, Internet, and Media regulatory practice consistently ranks as among the nation’s best in expertise, legal ability, client service, and business understanding. We are looking for the same qualities in a new associate. Our practice supports all major industry sectors, including wireless, broadband, media, satellite, and Internet economy. Duties include legal research, writing, and oral advocacy before the FCC, NTIA, FTC, Congress, and other government agencies. The associate will also have a high degree of responsibility in supporting attorneys and counseling clients on legal, policy, commercial, compliance and technology matters.
Strong academic credentials, excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a law firm environment are essential. Membership in or eligibility for the D.C. bar is required. Experience working on communications-related litigation, commercial, or compliance matters—particularly, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)—is a plus.
