This December, the Homeland Security and Emergency Communications Committee (HSEC) will team up with the FCBA Foundation for a holiday service initiative! We want to show our appreciation for the tireless men and women who answer and dispatch 9-1-1 calls every day. So, we are partnering with local public safety answering points (PSAPs) to provide a staff meal for dispatchers working during the holiday season. This year, we partnered with the Alexandria Department of Emergency Communications (DEC), Arlington County Emergency Communications Center (ECC) and the DC Office of Unified Communications (OUC). We will schedule meal deliveries and make in-person visits to extend our appreciation and send holiday greetings.
