Topic: The FCBA Legislative Committee and Wireless Telecommunications Committee will sponsor a brown bag lunch on Friday, October 18th featuring key Congressional staffers responsible for advising Members of Congress on policy issues related to the wireless industry. With Democrats recently gaining a majority in the House and Senate Republicans retaining control of the Senate, we will learn how agendas differ in the two chambers and the prospects for passing legislation in a time of divided government. The brown bag will also provide an opportunity for FCBA members to get to know key staffers responsible for advising House and Senate legislators on wireless communications issues, learn about their roles, as well as their bosses’ priorities for the 116th Congress.
